Campaign Disclosure Seminars

Here are two videos approximately 20 minutes long each. The first contains information about forming an Illinois political committee and filing the D-1 Statement of Organization. It also covers requirements and filing instructions for the Schedule A-1 (contributions of $1000 or more) and the Schedule B-1 (independent expenditures of $1000 or more made within 30 days prior to an election).

Who must file campaign disclosure reports?
Any individual, trust, partnership, committee, association, corporation, or any other organization or group of persons which receives or spends more than $3,000 on behalf of or in opposition to a candidate or question of public policy, meets the definition of a political committee and must comply with all provisions of the Illinois Campaign Financing Act, including the filing of campaign disclosure reports.
